Remove the brew unit and place a cleaning tablet
in the funnel.
Replace the brew unit in the appliance and close
the door.
Place a liter sized container under both coffee dis-
pensers.
Press the m button.
Make sure the machine is turned on and has had
a chance to warm up. If it is not warm, pressing
the button will have no effect. The display will
show:
Press the button e again to move the asterisk to
the “Rinsing cycle”.
Press ENTER
The display window will show:
A small amount of water will run out of the coffee dis-
pensers, then stop. This process will ocur four more
times until the cleaning cycle is complete. During
the last step, approximately a pint of water will be ex-
pelled. The total cleaning cycle will take about 5
minutes and a message telling you it has ended will
appear in the display.
The brew unit has now been cleaned and
rinsed. You can once again use the ma-
chine to make coffee.
