Cleaning the steel filters
Wipe any remaining coffee off the steel filter in
the funnel of the brew unit to keep the machine
working smoothly.
The steel filter to the left of the funnel can be
removed for thorough cleaning. This filter should be
checked regularly to see if it needs to be cleaned.
Remove the brew unit.
Fit the Allen wrench supplied to the connection
point in the brew unit, turn counterclockwise while
gripping the filter firmly.
Remove the filter with the screw.
Clean the filter with hot water and dry thoroughly.
Replace the filter in the brew unit and secure it by
carefully turning the Allen wrench clockwise,
while gently pressing down on the filter to ensure
that it is engaged.
