There is no coffee capsule on the capsule plate:
The capsule is probably stuck in the brew unit.

Danger of injury. Do not touch the brew unit. Only use
a wooden spoon handle or similar to do this.
^ Try to remove the coffee capsule from the upper area of
the brew unit using a wooden spoon handle or similar.
^ Replace all parts and close the machine front.
If the message appears again or if you cannot remove the
capsule, contact Miele.
