Problem Possible cause and solution
Coffee drinks trickle/
dribble slowly out of the
central spout.
The brew unit is blocked because the coffee machine
has been used very intensively. And/or the brew unit
has not been regularly removed and cleaned by
hand.
If a cleaning cartridge is inserted, start by
switching off Automatic Cleaning (Settings| Automatic
Cleaning).
Run the Degrease the brew unit maintenance
program with 1cleaning tablet (see “Cleaning and
care – Degreasing the brew unit and cleaning the
interior”).
It is particularly important to clean the filters in the
brew unit thoroughly.
If necessary, switch on Automatic Cleaning before
you start making a drink.
Otherwise, the Clean the milk pipework and Degrease the
brew unit maintenance programs will have to be run
again.
