Installation recommendations
– We recommend a minimum distance
of 700 mm and a maximum distance
of 1300 mm.
– Please be aware that if positioned
t
oo high, extraction will be inefficient.
– To achieve optimum vapour
e
xtraction, the cooker hood must
cover the hob. It should be
positioned centrally over the hob, not
to the side or to the back of it.
– The hob should be no wider than the
coo
ker hood, and if possible, it
should be narrower.
– If the cooker hood is being installed
in a suspended ceiling, the
insta
llation surface all around the
cooker hood must be at least 300
mm larger than the cooker hood
itself.
– The installation area must be easily
accessible. The cooker hood should
be easily accessible and easy to
dismantle in the event that service is
required. This should be taken into
consideration when planning the
position of cupboards, shelves,
ceilings or features in the vicinity of
the cooker hood.
