Fitting / replacing the active
charcoal filter
For recirculation mode the active char-
coal filter has to be used in addition to
the grease filters. It is designed to ab-
sorb cooking odours.
The active charcoal filter is fitted into a
slot on the front of the appliance hous-
ing.
Active charcoal filters can be obtained
from your dealer or the Miele Spare
Parts Department. Refer to the section
“Technical data” for type and refer-
ence number.
Follow the instructions supplied with
the active charcoal filter when fitting it.
Replace the filter when it no longer ab-
sorbs kitchen odours effectively. It
should, however, be replaced at least
every 6 months.
