The appliances are then secured indi-
vidually in their niche using the supplied
installation material (follow the instruc-
tions in the enclosed Operating and In-
stallation Instructions).

If the appliances are to be installed next
to each other without a partition wall
between them, they will need to be
joined together with the side-by-side
merging kit. In addition, you must install
the side panel heater to prevent con-
densation from forming and any result-
ing damage (see from section “Prepar-
ing the refrigeration appliances”).
The door hinges of the appliances
must not be located next to each
other, otherwise the appliance doors
will collide and become damaged if
they are opened at the same time.
Connecting the side panel heater
leads to higher energy consumption.
