Hob controls
Cooking hints
Place all ingredients in a pan and
cover.
Turn the control to the setting re-
quired for continuation cooking
between 1 – 7 (see chart).
Switch off the zone when the food is
cooked.
Example: Boiled potatoes
Put 1 kg of peeled potatoes into a
pan and cover with 0.25 litres of
salted water. Place on the 18 cm Ø
cooking zone.
Turn the control to continuation cook-
ing setting 6.
After 2530 minutes the potatoes
are done and the cooking zone can
be switched off.
Cooking time may vary according to
the type of pan used and the potato
variety.

These figures, which envisage approx. 4 help-
ings, should only be taken as a guide. With
deep pans, large quantities, or without the lid
on, a higher setting is needed. With smaller
quantities select a lower setting.
