3.5 Accessory Compartment Lid Rocks Back and Forth
Symptom:
Accessory compartment lid rocks back and forth when opened.
Cause:
The lid catch tabs are too short.
Remedy:
The casing top has been modified in the lid hinge area. This has improved the
accessory compartment lid guiding and prevents rocking back and forth.
Install new lid catch tabs, mat. no. 05407150.
4 Service
4.1 Accessory Compartment Lid Removal
1. Open the accessory compartment lid wide to its end stop.
2. Lever the lid free of the catch tabs (Figure 020-4, Item 1).
