Unwinding the cable

Pull out the mains cable to the
required length (max. approx. 6.5 m).

If vacuuming for longer than 30
minutes, the mains cable must be
pulled out to its fullest extent.
Otherwise there is a danger of
overheating and damage.
Rewinding the cable
^ Switch off at the wall socket and
remove the plug.
^ Press the rewind foot switch. The
cable will rewind automatically.
Auto-reverse
Some models are fitted with an
Auto-reverse function. To switch on this
function, move the slide switch to
"Auto-Reverse". When Auto-reverse is
switched on, the rewind brake on the
cable drum is released. It pays out the
exact amount of cable required and
gathers in excess cable so that the
cable automatically adjusts itself to the
distance between the appliance and
the wall socket.
