the event of a fault and during cleaning and maintenance.
This tumble dr
yer must not be used in a non-stationary location
(e.g. on a ship).
Do not make any alterations to the tumble dryer, unless author‐
ised to do so by Miele.
Heat pump t
echnology and refrigerant:
The heat pump in this tumble dryer uses a refrigerant which is con‐
densed by the compressor and led in a closed circuit through the
heat exchanger unit where heat exchange with the circulating drying
air takes place.
The humming noises caused by the heat pump are normal and do
no

The refrigerant is not flammable or explosive.
In general it is not necessary to leave the dryer standing for any
len

been transported and installed correctly (see "Installation and
connection").
If it has not been transported as described, ensure that the rec‐

erwise the heat pump can be damaged.
This tumble dryer contains fluorinated greenhouse gases. They
ar
e hermetically sealed.
