Opening the lid in the event of
a blocked drain outlet and/or
power failure

Switch the washing machine off.
^ Use the yellow lever to open the
access flap.

If the drain outlet is blocked, up to
25 litres of water will be retained in the
machine.

Caution: if laundry has been
washed at a high temperature, water
draining out of the machine will still
be hot. Danger of scalding!
Procedure for draining the machine
^
Place a suitable container under the
access flap.
When draining water from the
machine, do not unscrew the fluff
filter completely or take it right out.
^
Unscrew the fluff filter lid until water
runs out.
To stop the flow of water:
^ Tighten the fluff filter back up again.
Once the flow of water ceases:
^
Remove the fluff filter completely.
