Opening the drum door in the
event of a blocked drain outlet
and/or power failure

Switch the machine off.
There is a yellow filter flap opener
behind the detergent drawer facia
panel.

Remove the opener.
^
Use it to open the access panel to
the fluff filter and drain pump.

However, if the drain outlet is blocked,
more water will be retained in the
machine (max. 25 l litres).

Caution: If laundry has been
washed at a high temperature, water
draining out of the machine will still
be hot. Danger of scalding or
burning!

Place a suitable container (2 litres)
underneath the drain fixture.

Turn the fluff filter lid round 2-3 times.
Do not take it right out. Approx. 2
litres of water will drain out.
To interrupt the procedure:
Tighten the fluff filter back up again.
With large volumes of water the dish will
need to be emptied several times.
