engine.
• Donotuseanycrackedsawchains
or saw chains that have become
misshapen.
• Donottrytocontinueacutthathas
already been started.
• Takecarewhensawingsplintered
wood. There is a risk of injury due to
pieces of wood being thrown out.
• Makesurethattherearenoforeign
bodies in the wood (nails, etc.).
• Nevertouchwirefencesorthe
ground with the running saw chain.
• Ensurechainiskeptwellsharpened
and replaced when worn.
• Replaceguidebarandchaindrive
sprocket when worn.
• Useonlydesignated,freshchainbar
lubricant in the bar lubricating
system.
• Checkandadjustchaintensionevery
hourofoperationandfollowingrst
10 minutes of operation with a new
chain. Do not allow the chain to
come in contact with any other ob
ject other than wood while
performing a cut, as this will blunt/
damage the chain immediately.
