Safety instructions for the cutting

• Beforeswitchingonthemachine,
make sure that your feet and hands
are a safe distance away from the
cutting tool.
• Nevertouchsolidobjects(stones,
tree trunks) when the cutting tool is
running.
• Thecuttingtooltakessometimeto
come to a halt! Do not brake it by
hand.

• Istheoiltank(chainlubrication)
 lled?Checktheoiltankregularly.
Immediately replenish the saw chain
oil so that the saw chain will not run
dry.
• Isthesawchaincorrectlysharpe-
ned? Only use well sharpened saw
chains, because blunt saw chains not
only increase the danger of kickback
but also place greater strain on the
engine.
• Donotuseanycrackedsawchains
or saw chains that have become
misshapen.
• Donottrytocontinueacutthathas
already been started.
• Takecarewhensawingsplintered
wood. There is a risk of injury due to
pieces of wood being thrown out.
• Makesurethattherearenoforeign
bodies in the wood (nails, etc.).
• Nevertouchwirefencesorthe
ground with the running saw chain.
• Ensurechainiskeptwellsharpened
and replaced when worn.
• Replaceguidebarandchaindrive
sprocket when worn.
• Useonlydesignated,freshchainbar
lubricant in the bar lubricating
system.
• Checkandadjustchaintensionevery
 hourofoperationandfollowingrst
10 minutes of operation with a new
chain. Do not allow the chain to
come in contact with any other ob
ject other than wood while
performing a cut, as this will blunt/
damage the chain immediately.
