    • M
      Michelle BruceJul 29, 2025
If your Miller Scrubber fume extractor is discharging fumes or particles, inspect the filter (including the gasket) and replace it if it's damaged or dirty. Make sure the filter is installed properly.

What to do if the motor/blower of my Miller FILTAIR Scrubber won't start?
    • V
      villarrealnathanAug 3, 2025
If the motor/blower of your Miller Scrubber won't start, there are several things you can check. First, verify that the filter is securely latched, as the safety interlock system prevents starting if it is not. Check the input power connection. Also, check fuses F1, F2, and F3, and replace them if they are open. For 230 volt and 460 volt models, check circuit breaker CB1 and reset it if it's open. As a final step, have a Factory Authorized Service Agent check the motor and wiring, as the motor has an overload reset switch.

Why is the air flow decreased in my Miller FILTAIR?
    • S
      Samantha StoneAug 8, 2025
Decreased airflow in your Miller Scrubber can be due to several reasons. Try these solutions: Reconnect the extraction arm flexible tubing, checking the inner tubing by pulling back the outer tubing first. Inspect the extraction arm tubing and replace it if damaged. Remove any obstructions from the fume extraction arm. Remove debris from the spark tray. Clean or replace the filter. If these steps don't resolve the issue, have a Factory Authorized Service Agent check for correct fan rotation (counterclockwise from the motor output shaft end).

What to do if the filter cleaning system of my Miller FILTAIR does not operate?
    • Z
      zgrayAug 13, 2025
If the filter cleaning system on your Miller Scrubber isn't working, start by checking fuses F1, F2, and F3, and replace them if necessary. For 230 volt and 460 volt models, check circuit breaker CB1 and reset it if it's open. Verify that the filter is securely latched, as the safety interlock system can prevent operation if it is not. Also, verify that the compressed air supply is on and meets the required specifications.

Why extraction arm of Miller Scrubber does not turn easily?
    • V
      Victor ReedAug 22, 2025
If the extraction arm of your Miller Scrubber doesn't turn easily, verify that the hardware securing the extraction arm to the base is properly tightened.
