What to do if the Minarik Inverter line fuse blows?
    • J
      Jeremy BowenJul 31, 2025
If the line fuse blows, first check that the line fuse is the correct size for the motor. Also, verify the motor cable or armature isn't shorted to ground. If nuisance tripping occurs due to ambient conditions and high-current spikes, consider adding a blower to cool the drive components, decreasing TORQUE settings, resizing the motor and drive for the actual load demand, or checking for incorrectly aligned mechanical components or jams.

What to do if Minarik Inverter motor will not reach the desired speed?
    • D
      Douglas ClarkAug 5, 2025
If the motor will not reach the desired speed, increase the MAX SPD setting. Also, increase the IR COMP setting and the TORQUE setting. Check the motor load and resize the motor and drive if necessary.

What to do if the Minarik Inverter motor does not run, but the line fuse does not blow?
    • C
      crosbyryanAug 8, 2025
If the line fuse doesn't blow but the motor won't run, increase the speed adjust pot or speed reference voltage setting. Then, remove any jumper from the INHIBIT terminals and remove any short between S2 and S1. Check if the drive is in current limit by verifying that the motor isn't jammed and increasing the TORQUE settings if they're too low. Ensure the drive is receiving AC line voltage at L1 and L2, and that the motor is correctly connected to A1 and A2.

Why Minarik Inverter motor pulsates or surges under load?
    • K
      Kevin VangAug 13, 2025
If the motor pulsates or surges under load, it may be because the IR COMP is set too high; adjust the IR COMP setting slightly CCW until the motor speed stabilizes. Also, the motor might be bouncing in and out of current limit. In this case, make sure the motor is not undersized for the load and adjust the TORQUE trimpot CW.

Why Minarik Inverter motor runs too fast?
    • S
      Stephanie SparksAug 17, 2025
If the motor runs too fast, calibrate MAX SPD and MIN SPD, as they may be set too high. Also, check the motor field connections if you are using shunt wound motors, as they may be loose.

How to stop Minarik Inverter motor when speed adjust potentiometer is full CCW?
    • P
      patrick15Aug 21, 2025
If the motor does not stop when the speed adjust potentiometer is full CCW, calibrate MIN SPD because the MIN SPD setting might be too high.

What to do if Minarik Inverter motor runs in the opposite direction?
    • H
      Heather NelsonAug 26, 2025
If the motor runs in the opposite direction, reverse the connections to A1 and A2.
