QUICK OPERATION
Insert batteries.
This camera uses two CR2 lithium
batteries. p.18
Attach the lens.
•Align the red mounting index on the
lens with the one on the camera.
Carefully insert the lens into the mount
and turn it clockwise until it clicks into
the locked position. p.20
Slide the main switch to ON.
Load the film.
Align the film tip with the red mark,
then close the back cover.

Set full-auto operation.
•Press the program-reset button to set
the camera to fully automatic
operation. p.30
Center your subject in the
wide focus frame . If using
a zoom lens, rotate the
zooming ring to frame your
subject as desired.
With the eye-start on, the camera will
focus and set exposure automatically.
Eye start is initially on when the
camera is taken out of the package.
With the eye-start off, the camera will
focus and set exposure automatically
when the shutter release button is
pressed partway down.

The audio signal confirms the camera
has focused when the shutter release
button is pressed partway down.

When or appears in the
viewfinder, press the shutter-
release button all the way
down to take the picture.
Use focus lock if your subject is off-
center and outside the focus frame.
