are four
positions
on the light meter
dial---Checl<,
H,
OFF
and
L.

mercury battery
is two
years.
During
use,
howerer,
yolr
may
test battery
power
by turning
the
meter
dial to "Check"
position.
If the needle
points
to
the check
mark
as
i
llustrated on
page
2l then
battery
power
is
ample. If
the
neeclle
falls
outside the check
mark,
battery
power
is
not
aclequate
ancl
it is time to replace
the battery.
[Jnlike convent-
ional batteries,
the mercury battery cloes not
lose
power
gradually.
When
it
clies,
it
clies abruptly.
Hence,
your
light
meter is
always
working
at maxlmum accuracy.
