the
AE
lock
all
the
way
down and
hold
it.
3. While
still
holding
the
AE
lock
down,
recompose
your
picture
as
desired and press
the
operating
butt~>n
all
the
way
down
to
release
the
shutter
.
NOTE
The
AE
lock
cannot
be used in
manual
mode
or
with
the
self-timer.
If
you
wish
to
change
the
aper-
ture
,
do
so
before
pressing
the
AE
lock
.
For
precise exposure
control
when using
the
AE
lock
with
a
variable-
effective
-apertu
re
zoom
lens (such
as
Minolta
3S-10Smm
f/3.S-4.S
MD
Zoom),
slightly
adjust
the
aperture
after
engaging
the
AE
lock
to
compensate
for
the
change
when
zooming
(or
do
not
zoom
after
engaging
the
lock).
For
exact
compensation
value, please
refer
to
the
zoom
lens'
owner's
manual.
When using
an
R60
(red)
filter,
adjust exposure
+1
stop.
