Function Description:

The N672x is a versatile device designed for various tasks, offering quick access to applications and settings. It features a touch screen for intuitive operation, supporting tap, tap and hold, drag, slide/swipe, and two-finger gestures for zooming. The device includes a barcode reader for scanning information, supporting various 1D and 2D symbologies, as well as postal codes and OCR options. Connectivity options include cellular data, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Near Field Communication (NFC) for data transfer and card reading. The device runs on an Android-based operating system, allowing for personalization of the home screen, display, sound settings, and connection configurations. It is equipped with front and rear cameras, a flash, and various sensors including a light sensor, proximity sensor, and NFC sensor (for selected models).

Usage Features:

  • Power Management: Turn on/off, sleep mode, airplane mode, restart, and forced shutdown. The hot-swap battery function allows battery replacement without powering down, with a recommended completion time of 30 minutes. Battery life can be extended by enabling Battery saver, turning off unnecessary sounds, closing unused apps, shortening screen timeout, lowering brightness, turning off Bluetooth, and preventing constant Wi-Fi scanning.
  • Memory and SIM Card: Supports MicroSD cards and Nano SIM cards (model dependent).
  • Touch Screen: Supports various gestures including tap, tap and hold, drag, slide/swipe, and two-finger gestures for zooming.
  • Screen Rotation: Automatic screen orientation change (portrait to landscape and vice versa) can be enabled/disabled.
  • Home Screen: Provides access to applications and settings. Features a status bar for system and notification icons, and a desktop for application shortcuts and widgets. Extended screens can be added for more shortcuts.
  • Application Management: Add shortcuts to the desktop or Favourites tray, group shortcuts into folders, and customize app permissions.
  • Quick Settings: Access frequently used settings by swiping down from the top of the screen.
  • Keyboard: On-screen keyboard for text, numbers, and symbols. Supports basic editing (select, cut, copy, paste, delete), capital letters, symbols, accented characters, and emoji.
  • Connectivity:
    • Cellular Data: Requires a Nano SIM card with an active data plan. Can be turned on/off, and data usage can be monitored.
    • Wireless Network (Wi-Fi): Connects to wireless access points (APs) or hotspots. Automatically scans for available networks and remembers secured networks.
    • Bluetooth: Pairs with other Bluetooth-enabled devices for short-range data exchange.
    • NFC: Transfers data to NFC-compatible devices and reads contactless cards.
  • Personalization: Customize the device through the Settings menu, including home screen, display, sound, and connection settings.

Maintenance Features:

  • Charging: Use only the supplied charger. Do not charge in high temperatures or direct sunlight. Charge the device at least once every two weeks if stored for a long period.
  • Battery Care: Use only the specified battery. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, or dispose of the battery in fire or water. Dispose of used batteries according to instructions.
  • General Care:
    • Keep the device away from excessive moisture and extreme temperatures.
    • Avoid direct sunlight or strong ultraviolet light exposure.
    • Do not place objects on top of the device or drop it.
    • Avoid sudden and severe temperature changes to prevent moisture condensation.
    • Protect the screen from scratches; non-adhesive screen protectors may be used.
    • Clean the device when powered off using a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use paper towels.
    • Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device, as this will void the warranty and may cause damage or injury.
  • Safety Precautions:
    • Keep the device and accessories out of reach of children and animals.
    • Do not store or carry flammable liquids, gases, or explosives with the device.
    • Do not leave the device in plain view in an unattended vehicle to prevent theft.
    • Avoid leaving the device in direct sunlight in a vehicle to prevent overheating.
    • The device is protected against splashes, water, and dust (IP67), but immersion in water or high-pressure water may cause damage and void the warranty. Do not operate in water.
    • To prevent hearing damage, avoid listening at high volume levels for long periods.
    • The barcode reader emits laser light; do not stare into the beam.
