    • D
      Dawn PadillaAug 18, 2025
If your Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner's heating system isn't reaching the set temperature, check if Prohibit, schedule, or holiday mode is selected. Adjust the settings as needed. Also, the room where the temperature sensor is located might be at a different temperature than the rest of the house, so consider repositioning the sensor to a more suitable room.

    • M
      Megan Frazier PhDAug 21, 2025
If your Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner's cooling system isn't cooling down to the set temperature (ONLY for ERSC(D) models), it could be due to the water in the circulation circuit being unduly hot, which causes Cooling mode to start with a delay to protect the outdoor unit. This is normal operation. Alternatively, when the outdoor ambient temperature is significantly low.

    • D
      Deborah PerezAug 29, 2025
If you notice small amounts of water dripping from one of the relief valves of your Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner, dirt might be preventing a tight seal in the valve. Twist the valve cap in the indicated direction until you hear a click. This releases a small amount of water, flushing out the dirt. Be very careful because the released water will be hot. If the valve continues to drip, contact your installer, as the rubber seal may be damaged and need replacing.

If you are experiencing cold water at the taps with your Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner system, it could be due to a scheduled control off period. Check the schedule settings and change them if necessary. Alternatively, all the hot water from the DHW tank may have been used. Ensure the DHW mode is operating and wait for the DHW tank to reheat.

      Emily SchneiderSep 9, 2025
