    Why is the Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner outdoor unit OPERATION INDICATOR lamp flashing?

      The OPERATION INDICATOR lamp might be flashing due to several reasons: * A serial signal issue between the indoor and outdoor units. * A problem with the room temperature or indoor coil thermistor. * A problem with the indoor fan motor. * A problem with the thermistor in the outdoor unit. * A problem with the outdoor control system. If this is the case, replace the deicer P.C. board. For the first three issues, check the room temperature thermistor and indoor coil thermistor. For the fourth issue, refer to E "Check of outdoor thermistor" on page 27. For the serial signal issue, refer to "Test point diagram and voltage".
