What to do if check code E0 appears on Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner remote controller?
    • K
      Krista GonzalezAug 11, 2025
If the check code “E0” appears when you turn on the Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner remote controller, it indicates a signal transmission error between the indoor unit and the remote controller. To resolve this: 1. Connect a sub remote controller. 2. Turn the circuit breaker ON. If the display “centrally controlled” remains, replace the indoor controller board. If the display disappears, turn the remote controller POWER button ON and check as follows.

If the Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner remote controller display doesn't appear after pressing the POWER button, there could be several reasons: 1. The remote controller might be damaged. Check the voltage between its terminals. If there's no voltage, remove the terminals and measure the voltage between the wires. If the voltage is between 6VDC and 12V, replace the remote controller. 2. There may be a short circuit in the transmission wire. 3. Indoor CN40 might have bad contact. 4. CN40 could be attached to a sub unit. 5. The power board might be damaged. 6. CN2D might have bad contact. 7. The fuse could be blown. 8. The circuit breaker might be OFF. Check each of these points. If none are defective, replace the indoor controller board.

What to do if Mitsubishi Electric PL42FK21 operating display disappears soon after turning on?
    • T
      Timothy JenkinsAug 31, 2025
If the Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner operating display appears briefly after pressing the POWER button on the remote controller and then disappears, consider these possibilities: 1. There might be a short circuit in the indoor/outdoor connecting wire. 2. There could be a short circuit in the transmission wire. 3. The remote controller may be malfunctioning due to noise waves from other appliances. Check the wiring. If the remote controller remains abnormal after checking the wires, turn the circuit breaker OFF and then ON. If the issue persists, replace the indoor controller board.
