Why does Mitsubishi HC6500 power turns off?
    • Z
      zedwardsAug 25, 2025
Your Mitsubishi Lcd projector might be turning off because the intake vent and/or exhaust vents are blocked. Remove any obstructions, wait for the fan to stop (until the STATUS indicator goes out), unplug the power cord, wait at least 10 minutes, plug it back in, and press the POWER button. If the STATUS indicator is steady red, the lamp needs replacing. Check that AUTO POWER OFF is set to OFF. It's also possible the lamp is deteriorating and may go out after a while.

What to do if Mitsubishi HC6500 Lcd projector says 'no signal'?
    • S
      Shawn DominguezAug 27, 2025
If your Mitsubishi Lcd projector displays “NO SIGNAL”, first turn on the connected device and ensure it is functioning correctly. Verify the external device is outputting signals, especially if it’s a notebook computer. Check the cable connecting the projector to the external device for any defects, and ensure the projector is connected using the correct terminals. Confirm that the connected device is correctly selected as the input source. If using an extension cord, replace it with the supplied cable to check if images are projected correctly; if they are, use an RGB signal amplifier with the extension cord.
