2.2 Operating the device safely
a
z Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line
and the plug are dry.
z Do not place any electrical devices inside the cooler.
z Protect the device and the cable against rain and moisture.
z Do not place the device near naked flames or other heat sourc-
es (heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
z Caution! Danger of overheating!
Ensure at all times that there is sufficient ventilation so that the
heat that arises during operation does not build up. Make sure
that the device is sufficiently far away from walls and other ob-
jects so that the air can circulate.
z When operating the cooler with the AC adapter at the 110 V AC
mains, the surface of the AC adapter will heat up. This is normal,
but don’t cover the adaptor with anything while it’s in use.
z Never immerse the device in water.
z Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.
z Danger of fatal injuries!
Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This
especially applies when operating the device with an AC mains
power supply.
z You may find a few water drops inside the cooler after the cool-
ing for some time. This is a normal effect because moisture or
humidity in the air condense into water drops when the temper-
ature inside the cooler cools down. The device is not defective.
Use a dry cloth to wipe off the water drops, if any.
z MOBICOOL cannot be held liable for damage resulting from
improper usage or incorrect operation.
