(5) “BOOK” key (key on remote controller)
Power on state: press this key to enter into booked time setting mod. At this moment, booked time can
be set through pressing “+”or “-” key. The specific operations are shown in booking function
introduction. Power off state: this key is invalid.
(6) “STERILIZER”
Power on state: long press “+” “-” keys simultaneously for 3s, then the digital screen will display
sterilizer status (two digits 8 are in a clockwise cycle dynamitic display); long press “+” “-” keys
simultaneously for 3s again to exit the status. Heating should stop when temperature reaches 80
o
C
and the antibacterial mode is maintained for 5 minutes to indicate that cycle is still in dynamitic
display. After 5 minutes, the system will exit sterilizer mode and return to the previous status.
Instructions:
a. When in sterilizer situation, if the system exits the sterilizer mode because heating temperature is
reached, then it will return to the previous mode. If it exits the sterilizer mode because long pressing of
“MODE” key, then enter into the booking status.
b. When in sterilizer situation, temperature is nonadjustable and double “8” figures flicker for 5s
simultaneously when the user presses “+” or “-” key, without quitting of sterilizer process.
c. It is impossible that sterilizer mode and booking mode exits at the same time. Specifically, booking
can be cancelled through long pressing “+” or “-” key and the system enters into the sterilizer status
accordingly; it can also exit sterilizer status through long pressing “MODE” key.
d, If the temperature has reached 80
o
C (exit sterilizer mode), long pressing “+” and “-” keys
simultaneously for 3s, then double “8” figures will flickers for 5s and the system will return to the
previous state after 5s.
e. Power failure memory in sterilizer mode.
f. The sterilizer power is set as whole container power heating.
4.2.8 Detailed description of functions
4.2.8.1 Heating/Heat preservation function
The system could judge heating/heat preservation state and light up the corresponding indicator
based on the difference between actual temperature and setting temperature. If the water heater is in
heating state, indicator “HEATING” lights up (bright green); indicator “READY” lights up (bright red)
when in heat preservation state.
The water heater could be directly heated to the setting temperature after just starting or readjusting
the setting temperature. When the setting temperature is reached, it will stop heating and enter into
the heat preservation state. If the difference between actual temperature and setting temperature is
greater than the temperature return difference, water will be heated again.
4.2.9 Booking bath function
When in power-on state, long press “MODE” key for 3s, then the booking indicator will light up. The
system will enter into booked time adjustment state and the digital tube flickers. At this moment, the
user could adjust the booked time through pressing “+” or “-” key.
4.2.9.1 Delay booking
This model adopts delay booking. That is, hot water is available after “XX” hours.
When in booking state, the user can not only adjust the booked time circularly in the range of “01-
02…-24-01” by clicking “+” key, but also adjust the booking hours circularly in the range of “24-23…-
01-24” by clicking “-” key.
If “+” or “-” key is long pressed, the time can be adjusted at a rate of 5 times per second. The
operation chart of booking function is shown in Diagram 16: Operation Chart of Booking Function
