The wheels
are easier to
remove if
you put the
bike into a
service
stand or
place it
upside
down.
Note: If you
place the bike
upside down,
please cover
the display to
protect it
from damage.
3.5.2. Removing/Fitting the Rear Wheel
Please refer to the assembly videos provided on Modmo’s YouTube channel for further detail on the removal and fitting of the front wheel.
Step 1. Locate the MOD Axle Nut tool in the rear
Modular mount and attach it to the 16mm spanner
provided in the tool box.
Step 3. Carefully remove the rear wheel from the
dropout and guide the belt of the pulley to remove
the wheel completely.
Step 2. Insert the MOD Axle Nut tool into the MOD Axle Nut and loosen the
bolt so it can turn freely without completely removing it and there is visible
space between the nut and the frame. One hand should hold the rear
wheel to prevent it from slipping down when loosening the MOD Axle Nuts.
