Overview

Moman Power 140 Rechargeable Li-ion V-mount Battery

The Moman Power 140 is a high-capacity rechargeable Li-ion V-mount battery designed to provide reliable power to various devices. It features multiple output interfaces and built-in protection mechanisms, making it a versatile and safe power solution for professional use.

Function Description

The Power 140 battery serves as a portable power source for mobile devices, cameras, and other electronic equipment. It can be charged via a Type-C charger and offers various output options including Type-C, D-TAP, and USB-A. The battery's intelligent design includes a four-level LED indicator to display remaining capacity and a built-in multiple control circuit for comprehensive protection against temperature, voltage, and current fluctuations. After ten days of inactivity, the battery automatically enters sleep mode to conserve power, with output turning off until the indicator light button is pressed to restore it.

Usage Features

The Power 140 offers flexible charging and discharging capabilities. The Type-C interface supports both-way power supply, allowing it to charge mobile devices or be charged by a Type-C charger. Similarly, the D-TAP interface is both-way, enabling power supply to other devices or charging through this interface. A dedicated USB-A interface provides an additional option for powering other devices.

The battery's capacity is indicated by four LED lights, showing percentages of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 90%. During charging, these LEDs illuminate to show the progress. For optimal battery performance, it is recommended to charge within a temperature range of 10~30°C.

In case of overload on the USB or D-TAP interfaces, the output will shut down, requiring a press of the indicator light button to restore it. If the battery runs out or enters a protected state, waiting for a period and checking the indicator status will confirm if it's exhausted, in which case it should be charged. Overcurrent, overtemperature, or overvoltage during charging may cause the battery to enter a protected state; removing the battery and allowing it to cool or discharge can help it recover. If the battery cannot be charged or discharged, placing it in a cool environment (recommended > 30 minutes) before attempting to charge again may resolve the issue.

Maintenance Features

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of the Moman Power 140 battery, several maintenance guidelines should be followed:

  • Storage: Keep the product in a dry, clean, dust-free environment. For long-term storage, keep the battery in a cool and dry place with a charge level above 50%.
  • Protection: Keep corrosive chemicals, liquids, and heat sources away from the product to prevent mechanical damage.
  • Cleaning: Use only a soft and dry cloth to clean the product.
  • Handling: Avoid dropping or subjecting the battery to external force, as this can cause malfunctions.
  • Disassembly: Do not attempt to disassemble the product, as doing so will void the warranty. Any malfunctions should be checked or repaired by authorized technicians.
  • Post-Use: Immediately put on the rubber cover after use to prevent dust accumulation in the interfaces.
  • Temperature Considerations: While the battery can discharge between -20°C and 50°C, it performs best when used in the temperature range of -10°C to 40°C. At low temperatures, the internal resistance increases, shortening discharge time, and heavy loads may cause automatic cut-off.
  • Pole Cleanliness: Keep the battery poles clean to ensure a better user experience.
  • Heat During Use/Charging: It is normal for the battery to get hot during charging and use.
