Congratulations on your acquisition of the Aragon 8008ST Dual Mono Amplifier. The
8008ST is a state-of-the-art component. Years of dedicated research, extensive testing, and
engineering refinement went into this Aragon exclusive.
Aragon components offer unparalleled flexibility and performance to the discriminating
music lover. Your 8008ST incorporates many advanced design and construction features into a
superbly crafted amplifier.
We recommend playing your 8008ST a minimum of 24 hours before performing any
critical listening. We do understand that most of you will not wait that long. Therefore, please
note that your 8008ST will improve sonicly over the course of the first week if the amplifier is left
on. During this time, you will notice the sound from your 8008ST will become richer, warmer
and more open. After this first week of break-in the high current bias of the 8008ST will allow the
amplifier to reach it's proper operating temperature within 20 minutes from turn on. From this
point forward we strongly recommend that you turn the amplifier OFF when not listening to
music.
UNPACKING YOUR NEW 800851 Dual Mono Amplifier
Your new 8008ST Dual Mono Amplifier was diligently hand-crafted. thoroughly tested
and carefully packed at our factory in California, USA. In the unlikely event that your 8008ST is
damaged during shipment, be sure to save the carton as evidence for the freight carriers'
inspection and call your authorized dealer immediately. We strongly recommend that you
always save the box and packing materials should you have to transport your 8008ST for any
reason. This is a particularly good idea if you wish to take full advantage of any future
upgrades or options.
CAUTION:
Never ship your 8008ST Dual Mono Amplifier without the original packing.

POWER ON/OFF

System Setup

INPUT CONNECTION

Connect variable output source to left and right channel inputs using RCA cables.

OUTPUT CONNECTION

Connect amplifier outputs to loudspeakers, ensuring correct polarity (+ to +).

POWER CONNECTION

Plug the AC power cord into the amplifier and then into an AC wall outlet.
