WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE NEAT AND SLY MODELS?
Both models are very similar in concept, geometry and kinematics, although NEAT is a range focused
on maximum lightness with Stealth Air Carbon frames with TQ motor while SLY models feature the latest
generation Stealth alloy frame with BOSCH Performance SX light eMTB motor.
WHICH SHOCKS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH SLY?
In addition to the FOX Float X and RockShox Deluxe we use for the dierent models, it is also compatible with
Fox Float series, DPX2, Float X2, DHX, DHX2 coil, RockShox SuperDeluxe Air or Coil as well as Öhlins TTX Air,
TTX22. SLY feature metric 185 x 55 mm sized shocks with Trunnion upper mount and bottom 30x8 mm standard
hardware.
WHICH IS THE MAXIMUM FORK TRAVEL ON SLY?
SLY is compatible with forks up to 170 mm travel or 590mm axle to crown.
WHICH IS THE MAXIMUM TIRE WIDTH THAT CAN FIT ON SLY?
SLY is compatible with tires up to 63mm wide which translate into 29”x 2.5” tires. It is recommended to
measure the tire before installing as the real width might be dierent depending on the manufacturer.
IS SLY COMPATIBLE WITH 27,5 REAR WHEEL?
You could technically ride a smaller 27,5” rear wheel but the bike has not been designed to ride a mullet setup
and the motor would not oer the optimum performance as wheel diameter is altered. The smaller wheel
circumference will aect the accuracy of the speed reading and cannot be adjusted. For example, switching to
a 27.5 x 2.5” rear wheel and tire combination will reduce cut-o speed by about 1 or 2 km/h. Geometry will be
heavily compromised as well and Mondraker does not cover the warranty riding anything dierent from the
stock 29” rear wheel.
WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO ADD A BATTERY EXTENDER TO INCREASE THE RANGE AND RIDE LONGER?
Yes, there is a BOSCH POWERMORE 250Wh range extender “water-bottle” mount style. It weighs 1.450 grams
or 1.525 grams including Bosch’s side-specific mounting bracket and connecting cable. You will enjoy greater
+60% longer range compared to the internal 400Wh CompactTube battery.
WHAT IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS I SHOULD CONSIDER WHEN FITTING A POWERMORE?
Bosch oers dierent sizes of the connecting cable for the PowerMore range extender, you will need the
300mm length. Bosch part number is EB12.120.07C and this is its description: POWERMORE CABLE 300MM

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DISASSEMBLE THE INTERNAL BATTERY?
No. The internal battery is integrated and non removable. In case disassembly is required, Bosch’s
Performance SX motor must be removed first.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FULLY CHARGE THE BATTERY?
The CompactTube 400Wh battery charges up to 50% in 90 minutes, while a full charge takes around 3,5 hours.
If you have a PowerMore range extender, it needs to be charged individually separately and takes around 3,2
hours to be fully charged.
