Check the thermocouple connection at the control valve and hand tighten it until snug, then tighten it an additional 1/4 turn. If the pilot flame is not touching the thermocouple, contact your local gas company, as this could be due to low gas pressure or a dirty/partially clogged ODS/pilot. Replace the thermocouple if it is damaged. Finally, the control valve might be damaged, so replace it if necessary.
