Why won't my Monterey Boats boat engine crank?

If your Monterey Boats boat engine won't crank, it could be due to several reasons: * The emergency safety switch may not be connected: connect the switch. * The throttle/shift control might be in gear: place the control in neutral. * The main circuit breaker could be open: reset the breakers. * The battery terminals might be corroded: clean the terminals and wiring. * The battery could be weak: charge or replace the battery. * The battery switch may be in the OFF position: place the switch ON. * The ignition switch may be faulty: replace the switch. * There might be an engine problem: see your dealer.
