Why is my Monterey Boats M22 sluggish and losing speed & RPM?

  Your boat might be sluggish due to several reasons. Start by cleaning the hull and running gear. Ensure the propeller is clean. Reduce the load on the boat. Also, pump out the bilge, identify, and correct the underlying issue. If these steps don't resolve the problem, have a qualified marine technician check the throttle control system.
