Why is the steering on my Monterey Boats boat unusually hard?

  Steering might be unusually hard because the fuse for the power steering circuit has blown, or an internal fuse in the power steering pump system has blown. A kinked or collapsed steering line could also be the cause. Replace the fuse, or the kinked/collapsed line.
