Usage Features:
- Control Panel: Features an On/Off button, Program Selection button, Power Indicator Light, Program Indicator Lights, Delay Function button (3, 6, 9, or 12 hours), and Salt & Rinse Aid Warning Lights.
- Program Selection: Offers various programs including "All in 1" (for multifunctional detergent), "Intensive" (for heavily soiled items), "Normal" (for normally soiled items), "Eco" (standard daily cycle for normally soiled loads), "1 Hour Express" (for lightly soiled loads without excellent drying efficiency), and "Rapid" (shorter wash for lightly soiled and quick wash).
- Water Softener: Requires specialist dishwasher salt. The salt container cap must be unscrewed, and approximately 1.5kg of salt added using the provided funnel. The water softener setting can be adjusted based on water hardness (Clarke scale from 0-75°).
- Rinse Aid Dispenser: Requires rinse aid to be added until full. The dispenser has 6 settings, pre-set to 4, which can be adjusted to prevent white spots or improve drying.
- Detergent Dispenser: Designed for specialist dishwasher detergent powder or tablets. For programs with a pre-wash cycle, detergent powder should be added to both main and pre-wash compartments. Tablets may not dissolve fully during shorter wash programs.
- Basket Loading:
- Upper Basket: Designed for delicate and lighter items like glasses, cups, saucers, small plates, small bowls, and shallow pans. Items should be positioned securely and not block spray arm rotation.
- Lower Basket: Designed for large and difficult-to-clean items such as pots, pans, lids, serving dishes, and bowls. Items should be placed in the rack as shown in diagrams and not block spray arm rotation.
- Cutlery Basket: Designed exclusively for cutlery. Knives and sharp items should be placed with sharp ends pointing down and not touching each other to ensure optimal wash performance.
- Adjustable Baskets: The upper basket position can be adjusted, and plate racks in the lower basket can be collapsed for flexibility.
- Cycle Start and End: Programs start 10 seconds after closing the door. A buzzer sounds at the end of the cycle. Opening the door slightly 10-15 minutes after the cycle ends can aid drying by allowing steam to escape.
- Safety: Do not sit or stand on the open door. Keep children away from detergent, rinse aid, and the open dishwasher door. Ensure sharp points of cutlery face downwards. Only use dishwasher-safe items and detergents.
Maintenance Features:
- Filter Cleaning: The filter assembly, located underneath the lower spray arm, should be regularly examined and cleaned to prevent blockages and damage to the pump. It is removed by turning anti-clockwise, washed in warm soapy water, and reassembled by turning clockwise.
- Door Cleaning: The inner stainless steel lining and door seal should be periodically cleaned with a warm damp cloth, paying attention to edges to prevent food deposit buildup. Abrasive cleaners or polishes should not be used on stainless steel.
- Spray Arm Cleaning: Spray arms should be periodically removed and washed in warm soapy water to clear blockages from food particles. The upper spray arm is removed by rotating the nut clockwise, and the lower spray arm by pulling it upwards.
- Daily Maintenance Tips:
- Switch off power when not in use.
- Regularly clean filters and spray arms.
- Clean door edges and seal.
- Add salt and rinse aid when prompted by indicator lights.
- Use only specialist dishwasher salt, detergent, and rinse aid.
- Never use abrasive cleaners.
- Leave the door slightly ajar when not in use to prevent moisture and odors, unless small children have unsupervised access.
- Before long periods of absence, run a rinse cycle, turn off water and power supplies, and leave the door ajar.
- Troubleshooting Guide: Provides solutions for common issues such as the dishwasher not starting, water left in the bottom, soap suds, stains inside, rust stains on cutlery, knocking noises, crockery not clean, cloudy glasses, and crockery not drying.
- Overflow/Leak Warning: In case of overflow or water leak, immediately turn off both water and power supplies and contact an engineer.
