sembly to be removed.
2. Remove attaching hardware connecting cable as-
sembly to engine or propellor control component.
3. Loosen hardware from attaching clamps. Remove
clamps. Loosen hardware attaching cable assembly to
throttle switch bracket.
4. Loosen jamb nut connecting cable assembly to
firewall.
5. From inside cockpit, behind control panel, locate
and loosen housing nut securing Throttle, Propeller or
Mixture Control to instrument structure assembly.
6. Remove control cable assembly by pulling aft from
control console.
Installation is the reverse of the above steps.
1. Follow original routing of control cable assembly
when installing to prevent binding or interference with
engine compartment components. Verify separation
between engine controls and exhaust system.
2. Install hardware in reverse order of removal. Re-
place worn or damaged hardware as required.
3. Check control cable for smooth operation through
full range of travel. There should be no binding of lev-

nents located in close proximity to the control cable
assemblies.
4. Adjust rigging per instructions provided in Chapter
