Windscreen/Headlamp Washers
To wash the windscreen, the control should be pulled toward the steering wheel. The stalk will return
automatically. Each time the washer is operated, the wipers will sweep the windscreen three times. When you
wash the windscreen the system will automatically wash the headlamps (There is a delay of 10 minutes between
each headlamp wash cycle)
Notice
Always switch the wipers off before turning off the ignition. In frost or snow, always check that the wipers are
free before operation. Not doing so will damage the wiper system. At all times use an additive in the washer
system to prevent freezing. Do not use wipers on a dry screen.
9 - Cruise Control
The lever is mounted on the left of the steering column below the indicator stalk. To engage the system, push
the lever away and release. To increase the stored speed “dab” the lever away and the speed will increase by 1
mph. Hold the lever away and the speed will increase progressively. To slow the stored speed, move the lever
toward the driver. Holding the lever back will progressively reduce the speed. Each “dab” will reduce the speed
by 1MPH. To cancel the cruise control push the lever up or down. Operation of the brake or clutch will cancel the
current operation. The original setting will be stored and can be resumed by pushing the button at the end of the
stork inward. To cancel the stored setting completely, push the lever up or down for 5 seconds. When the
ignition is turned off the stored settings will be cancelled.
Warning
Do not use the cruise control when driving on winding roads, in heavy traffic or in poor road conditions – e.g.
snow, rain, ice or loose surfaces that do not allow constant speed.
