This document is an owner's manual for an Air Cooler, Model: AC100-22JRL. It provides important safety instructions, installation guidance, operating instructions, and maintenance information.
Function Description:
The air cooler is designed for household and indoor use. Its primary function is to provide a cool wind, which can be enhanced by using an ice crystal box. The device features multiple wind speeds (low, medium, high) and three wind types: Normal wind (3 gears), Sleep wind (2 gears), and Baby wind (1 gear). It also includes an oscillation function to distribute air, a timer for scheduled shutdown or startup (1-7 hours), and a "cool air" function. The cool air function is particularly recommended for dry or hot weather and requires sufficient water in the tank; an indicator light flashes if water needs to be added. The device can be controlled via buttons on the machine body or a remote control.
Important Technical Specifications:
While specific power ratings (voltage, wattage) are not explicitly detailed, the remote control uses AAA 1.5V manganese or alkaline batteries. The ice crystal box is made of eco-friendly and toxic-free materials and can be frozen repeatedly for reuse. The water tank has "max" and "min" indicating scales to guide water levels, especially during humidification.
Usage Features:
- Installation: The base of the air cooler needs to be assembled by aligning and snapping two parts together, then the main body is pressed into the base and secured with screws.
- Water Feeding and Tank Cleaning: The water tank is designed for easy removal for cleaning and water refilling. To access the tank, a buckle is pulled to a horizontal state, and the tank is then pulled out. The water pump module can be separated from the tank by unscrewing a rotary knob (90° anticlockwise) for thorough cleaning. It is recommended to clean the water pump module every 3 months. After cleaning or refilling, the water pump module is reinstalled by inserting a front hook into the tank's slot and rotating the knob clockwise for 90°. The water tank should not exceed the "max" level and should not fall below the "min" level during humidification.
- Ice Crystal Box Usage: The ice crystal box can be frozen in a refrigerator for more than 3 hours and then placed in the water tank to enhance the cooling effect. Ice blocks can also be used as an alternative. The water level must remain below the "max" scale when using the ice crystal box.
- Operation: The device can be started/stopped, and its swing function activated/deactivated via dedicated buttons. Wind speed and type can be adjusted, and a timer can be set for convenience. The cool air function is activated separately.
- Remote Control: The remote control operates within 5 meters of the front of the product and within a 30-degree deviation angle. It has buttons for startup/standby, adjusting wind speed (+/-), setting wind type, and controlling the timer and cool wind function.
Maintenance Features:
- General Cleaning: Before any cleaning or maintenance, the appliance must be unplugged and allowed to shut down for two minutes. Abrasive tools, solvents, gasoline, or thinner should not be used for cleaning. Exterior parts can be wiped with a soft cloth soaked in mild detergent, then dried. The machine body should not be washed directly with water. Disassemble parts, such as wet curtain parts, can be washed with a soft brush, cleaned, and dried before reinstallation.
- Water Tank Maintenance: Water accumulated at the bottom of the tank should be cleaned timely if the product is left unused. The water pump module must be fixed in position before startup to ensure proper cool wind function.
- Motor Maintenance: To ensure adequate air circulation, vents at the rear of the motor should be kept free of dust. The fan should not be disassembled to remove dust.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a basic troubleshooting guide for common issues, such as the product not operating (check power cord, switch) or cool wind function abnormalities (check water level).
- Service Life: Regular checks and cleaning are recommended to extend the product's service life. Non-specialized personnel or unauthorized repair personnel should not attempt to repair or modify the machine. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified service agent.
- Battery Disposal: Waste batteries from the remote control should be recycled separately due to their heavy metal, acid, and base content.
