Automatic Registration Service (ARS)
ADVANCED FEATURES
This feature provides an automated data application registration for the radio. When you turn on the radio, the device
automatically registers with the server.
Data applications within the fixed network can determine the presence of a device on the system and send data to the device.
For example: Text Messaging Service (TMS).
The Automatic Registration Service for the radio consists of two (2) modes:
• ARS Server Mode (default mode)
• ARS Non-Server Mode
