You can set a different code for each channel. To set a channel and code:
1. Press
G two times and then press Bor Cto go to the channel you want.
2. Press
Gagain and then press Bor Cto go to the code you want.
3. Press
Ato save the channel and code.
To set another channel and code, do these steps again.
Listening to a Channel
Pressing
F lets you hear how loud the radio sounds when someone is not talking to
you. If you need to, you can make the sound louder or quieter. It also lets you hear
if someone is talking on the channel before you talk.
Time-Out Timer
The time-out timer helps make your battery last longer by sounding a warning tone if
Ais pressed accidentally for too long. After one minute, the radio stops
transmitting.
