Why is there no sound coming from my Motorola amphisoundX MT250-ASB31?

  If there is no sound from your Motorola Speaker System, first ensure the unit isn't muted by pressing the MUTE or VOL+/VOL– button. Try pressing the power button on the unit or remote to switch the soundbar to standby mode, then on again. Unplug both the soundbar and subwoofer from the power socket and plug them back in, then switch on the soundbar. Ensure the audio setting of the input source (TV, game console, DVD player, etc.) is set to PCM or Dolby Digital mode while using a digital connection like HDMI, OPTICAL, or COAXIAL. If using a subwoofer, it should be within 5 meters of the soundbar. If the soundbar lost connection with the subwoofer, re-pair the units. If the unit may not be able to decode all digital audio formats, the unit will mute. This is NOT a defect.

  If the remote control for your Motorola Speaker System isn't working, first select the correct source before pressing any playback control button. Try reducing the distance between the remote and the unit, ensuring you're aiming the remote directly at the sensor on the front. Check that the battery is inserted with the correct polarities (+/-). If not, replace the battery.

  If your Motorola Speaker System has no power, ensure that the AC cord is properly connected and that there is power at the AC outlet. Also, make sure you press the standby button to turn the unit on.

  If the subwoofer is idle or its indicator light is off, unplug the power cord from the mains socket and plug it back in after 4 minutes to reset the subwoofer.
