Cannot register a handset to the base
• You can register up to a maximum of 4 handsets to a C42 base. You must de-
register a handset in order to register a new one, see page 42
• Check that you have entered the correct PIN code (default = 0000).
• Check that you are at least one metre away from other electrical equipment to
avoid interference when registering.
Handset does not ring
• The handset ringer volume may be set to O, see page 37.
Noise interference on my phone or on other electrical equipment nearby
• Place your C42 at least one metre away from electrical appliances or any
metal obstructions to avoid any risk of interference.
