Moto Note
Use the stylus to create, edit, and share notes.
Find it: Swipe up from the home screen and tap Moto Note
Moto Note screen. Tap the thumbnail to view, edit, share, or delete a note.
» Create a note: Tap , then tap a mode text, drawing, audio,
or checklist. To save the note you have created, tap . To delete a
checklist, tap Menu > Delete.
» Text mode: Tap to start a text note. Tap on the keyboard or
handwrite on the screen with the stylus (see Handwrite with a stylus)
to input text. Tap the tools at the bottom of the screen to add a table,
take a photo, or choose an image. To convert images of typed,
handwritten, or printed text into machine-encoded text, tap . To
delete a text note, tap Menu > Delete.
» Drawing mode: Tap to create a drawing. Tap the tools at the
bottom of the screen to change to a dierent highlighter, erase the
drawing, insert a ruler, and more. To add an image or text, tap Menu >
Add image or Add text. Tap to expand the canvas. Tap or to
scroll the canvas up or down. To delete a drawing, tap Menu > Delete.
Tip: To minimize the toolbar, tap on the right of the bar.
» Audio mode: Tap to start a recording. Then tap to stop
recording or tap to pause. To play a recording, tap . To delete all
recordings, tap Menu > Delete.
» Checklist mode: Tap to start a checklist. Tap to add an entry to
the checklist. To delete a checklist, tap Menu > Delete.
» Add a title or categorize a note: To enter a title, type in the title field
above the canvas. Tap next to Uncategorized to apply or create a
category. To view or sort by categories, from the home screen, swipe
up and tap Moto Note > Menu > To-do, Personal, or Work. To
add a category, tap .
