While creating a message you can set up read
receipts. Press

check delivery status
If a message was successfully sent and you
set the message to confirm delivery, you can
check the delivery status:

delete sent messages

Scroll to the message you want to delete.

Yes
to confirm.
Off:
read receipts will not be generated.
On Delivery:
read receipt will be generated
when a message is delivered.
When Read:
read receipt will be generated
when a message is read.
Both:
read receipt will be generated when a
message is delivered and read.

Available with MMS only.
