• To clean the radio housing, wipe with a
soft cloth dampened with water.
• Don’t use cleaners or solvents on the
radio, they can harm the body and leak
inside, causing permanent damage.
• Battery contacts may be wiped with a dry,
lint-free cloth.

Spirit radios can communicate at distances
of up to 5 miles. But, range will decrease as
the surroundings become more obstructive.
Buildings and vehicles as well as trees and
heavy foliage will limit range.
