Learn the basics
Notications
At the top of the screen, icons on the left notify you about new messages or events. If you don’t know
what an icon means, swipe the status bar down for details.
When you install and open an app (see Add, update and personalize apps) you’ll be asked if you
want to allow the app to send notications.
Tip: Getting too many notications? Swipe up from the home screen and tap Settings >
Notications > App notications. Tap a switch to turn notications on/off.

Bubbles
Easily see and participate in conversations using notication bubbles that oat on top of the display.
Find it: Swipe up from the home screen and tap Settings > Notications > Bubbles, then tap the
switch to turn it on.
