5 Enter a four-digit password.
See Step 2 in Accessing the Radio from Password on
page 67.
6 If the password is correct:
b or c to Turn On to enable Password Lock. The
display shows 9 beside Turn On.
OR
b or c to Turn Off to disable Password Lock. The
display shows 9 beside Turn Off.
OR
If the password is incorrect:
The display shows Wrong Password and automatically
returns to the previous menu.
Changing the Password
Procedure:
1 g to access the menu.
2 b or c to Utilities and press g to select.
3 b or c to Radio Settings and press g to select.
4 b or c to Passwd Lock and press g to select.
5 Enter your current four-digit password via keypad
microphone.
See Step 2 in Accessing the Radio from Password on
page 67.
6 If the password is correct:
b or c to Change Pwd and press g to select.
OR
If the password is incorrect:
The display shows Wrong Password and automatically
returns to the previous menu.
7 Enter a new four-digit password via keypad microphone.
See Step 2 in Accessing the Radio from Password on
page 67.
8 Re-enter the new four-digit password. See Step 2 in
Accessing the Radio from Password on page 67.
9 If both of the new password inputs match:
The display shows Password Changed.
OR
If both of the new password inputs do not match:
The display shows Passwords Do Not Match.
10 The screen automatically returns to the previous menu.
