Chapter 4 Control Head Programming
4.1 Introduction
This chapter provides an overview of the MOTOTRBO
TM
Customer Programming Software (CPS),
which is designed for use on a Windows 7/Vista operating system. These programs are available in
one kit as listed in Table 4-1. An Installation Guide is also included with the kit.

4.2 Customer Programming Software Setup
The Customer Programming Software setups, shown in Figure 4-1 and Figure 4-2, are used to
program the radio.
NOTE: Refer to the appropriate program on-line help files for the programming procedures.
CAUTION: Computer USB ports can be sensitive to Electronic Discharge.
Do not touch exposed contacts on cable when connected to a computer.
