WARRANTY
or Authorized Service Center together with proof 
of purchase or comparable documentation bear-
ing the date of purchase and the PRODUCT item 
serial number.
Repair time will in no case exceed 30 days from 
the date the PRODUCT is received at a site 
authorized to honor this warranty.
To obtain parts, spare parts, accessories, and 
service not covered by this warranty, the end 
user purchaser should contact any nearby 
MOTOROLA Service Center or Authorized 
Service Center.
II. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT 
COVER:
A) Defects or damage resulting from use of the 
PRODUCT in other than its normal and 
customary manner.
B) Defects or damage from misuse, accident or 
neglect.
C) Defects or damage from improper testing, 
operation, maintenance, installation, or 
adjustments; or resulting from any alteration 
or modification of any type carried out by 
persons not authorized by MOTOROLA.
D) Breakage or damage of antennas, unless 
caused directly by defects in material or 
workmanship.
E) PRODUCT which has had its serial number 
removed or made illegible.
F) Defects or damage caused by food or liquid 
spills.
G) Scratches or damage to all plastic surfaces 
and exposed parts, which have resulted 
from normal use by the end user purchaser.
H) When there has been any unauthorized 
attempt or action to open, alter, or repair the 
PRODUCT or its software.
I) When the PRODUCT is not used in 
accordance with the operating instructions 
that accompany it.
J) MOTOROLA disclaims liability with regard to 
range, coverage, or operation of a system as 
a whole with relation to the PRODUCT.
K) Rechargeable batteries if:
1) Batteries are charged using any charger 
that has not been approved by 
MOTOROLA specifically for this 
function.
2) Any of the seals on the battery 
enclosure of cells are broken or show 
evidence of tampering.
3) If the batteries have been used or 
installed in equipment that is not a 
MOTOROLA PRODUCT.
