RMN5052/RMN5053 are compact, heavy-duty microphones with PTT button, coiled cord, and hang-up clip.
Plan installation for convenient reach, avoiding vehicle interference.
Important warnings regarding airbag safety, secure mounting, and cable protection during installation.
Verify surface strength, drill 3mm holes using clip as template, and secure with self-tapping screws.
Snap microphone into clip and connect cord plug to radio, aligning pins and twisting collar to lock.
Hold microphone 5cm from mouth, press PTT, speak into grill openings, release PTT to listen.
Buttons are programmable via CPS; refer to radio user guide for full function descriptions.
Turn locking collar 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pull cable from accessory connector.
Rotate base collar counterclockwise, pull cord out. Install in reverse order.
Microphones are not repairable, except for replaceable cords. Order replacement microphones as needed.
Replacement cords available: Compact (RLN6276) and Heavy Duty (RLN6277).
